Here’s a really good Chicken Wing Dip recipe that’s creamy, cheesy, and has just the right amount of spice. It’s perfect for parties or game days! I love making chicken soup with a left over rotisserie, but it doesn’t take much to get me on the same page as this.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie works great!)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (or substitute with more ranch if you prefer)
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot is the classic choice)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×9-inch baking dish or a similar-sized oven-safe dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with green onions if desired.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or even pita chips for dipping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the microwave or oven.
Quick note — this is just a jacked up cream cheese that’s melted … rich, spicy, cheesy and all goodness! If you’re going to wear it on your ass, make it worth it.
